Hi and Welcome !!
I made it ! After running a business with my husband of 25 years and raising 4 children together, life looks like it's finally slowing down enough for me to do things that I want to do.
As a parent - we learn to give up nearly everything that we enjoy doing, to make sure that our kids have what they need. For me - that meant putting quilting and cooking on the back burner. But now that my youngest has a drivers license and can get from point A to point B .... it's time to put aside time each day to re-discover those things that I enjoy doing.
Why Turtles ? One - I love almost anything and everything to do with the Ocean. Maybe because I'm a Pisces, maybe because I just love the beach, and turtles have a special place near my heart. For a Turtle to get anywhere, it must stick it's neck out first. I can relate to that. Although I enjoy being inside my own shell for the most part, I know in order to grow, I must stick my neck out. We all do. So come along and share my journey with me !!
